2215 Fire Departmentr 212 c.� ORDINANCE NO. 2215 (Published in the Salina Daily Union October 1918) An ordinance relating to the Fire Department of the city of Salina, Kansas. Be it ordained by'the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That from and after the passage of this ord- inance, that each fireman in the Fire Department of the City of Salina, Kansas, shall be granted twenty-four (24) hours leave of absence from the station during each week on full pay, pro- vided, however, that not more than one-sixth of the members of the Fire Department, shall be granted leave of absence as afore- said at any one time, and provided further that such firemen on leave of absence as aforesaid shall remain within the corprate limits of the city of Salina, Kansas, and upon any fire alarm given by the Fire Chief, shall hold himself in readiness to, and answer such fire alarm or call so made. See. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its publication once in the official City paper. Passed and approved, October 7th2 1918. (SEAL) Attest: Chas. E.
