ORDINANCE NO. -2206

An ordinance making a special -assessment and levy of taxes
far the cutting `of :;weeds ori certain lots -and parts
of lots in the city of Salina, Kansas, for the year
• 1918 .
Be it ordained by the Mayor and ,Councilmen of the- City of
Salina
Section 1. That there be -and -is hereby levied a special
tax for the year 1918 in addition to the tax for general rev-
enue and other purposes for said year, for the purpose of pay-
ing for the cutting of weeds by the City of Salina, on the
lots and parts of lots against which said taxes are levied,
said tax to be levied on the lots and' parts of lots describ-
ed as follows,'and to be in the amounts as follows, to -wit:
Lot 15; Blk-. 3, riverside *Park•Addition $1.25

Sec. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify
the assessments made in Section One (1) hereof to the County
Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be placed upon the tax
roll for collection, subject to the same penalties and to be
collected in the same manner as other taxes are collected,
,S60. 3. This obdinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in The Salina
Daily Union.
