ORDINANCE NO.'2166

An ordinance creating and opening certain streets in the city of
Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That a street 46 feet in width from Morrison Aven-
ue to South Street, between Ninth and Tenth Streets in the city of
Salina, Kansas, the same comprising the alley in said block and a
strip of land 14 feet in width off lots one to eight inclusive, and
a strip of land 14 feet in width off the east end of lots nine to
sixteen inclusive, all in Block 1, Morrison's Addition to the city
of Salina, Kansas, be and the same is hereby created and dodl6ated :• '
to the use of the public as a thoroughfare and highway.
Sec. 2. That the Street. Commissioner of the City of Salina,
be and he is hereby directdd to have all private property and other
obstructions to the use of said street removed within sixty (60)
days from the publication of this ordinance.
Sec. 3. Said street shall be known and described as Putnam
Avenue.
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official City paper.
Passed and approved, April 1st, 1918.
