An ordinance vacating a portion of certain streets in the city
of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That that portion of Third Street described as:
"Beginning at a point on the center line of the Rock Island -Rail-
way Company's Salina Branch track, which point is at profile sta-
tion 2540 plus 00 and is one and eight -tenths (1.8) feet wester-
ly measured along said center line from its intersection with the
south line of North Street, and thirty and tw-tenths (30.2)
feet easterly measured along said center line from its intersec-
tion with the east line of Third Street; thence westerly thru a
i�:o. 8 turnout to the left seventy-five (75.0) feet to heel of
frog, thence continuing westerly on a tangent to turnout curve
forty-nine and five -tenths (49.5) feet to a point of curve of a
sixteen (16) degree no minute curve to the left, thence continuing
westerly on a sixteen (16) degree and no minute curve to the
left seven (7.0) feet to the west line. of. Third Street, thence
continuing westerly on said sixteen (16) degree and no minute two
hundred eighty-zeven and three -tenths (287.3). feet to end of
track. Total length of track being four hundred eighteen and
eight -tenths (418.8) feet, of which two hundred sixteen and five -
tenths (216.5) feet lies upon right of way of the Railway Company,
one hundred one and three -tenths (101.3) feet 'in Third Street, and
one hundred one (101) feet upon land owned, lesseed or controlled
by the party of the second part.", be and the same is hereby
vacated.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its publication once in the official City
paper.
