An ordinance granting the' Right of Way to The Union Pacific
Railroad Company fora switch track across certain streets
in the City of Salina.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the Right, of way be and the same is hereby
granted to.the Union Pacific Railroad Company to build, maintain
and operate two switch tracks and to run its tralhs, engines and
cars thereon across Ninth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas,
between its .present tracks as the same now cross Ninth Street and
to build, maintain, operate and extend one of such tracks along and
across the north side of North Street at or east of its intersect-
ion with Seventh Street to connect with the present McPherson
Branch switch.
See .2.,, Said switch tracks to be built and constructed in
accordance with the plans and specifications of the City Engineer
and the Street and Alley Committee of the City of Salina, Kansas,
relating to railroad crossings on paved streets in said City.
See. 3. This ordinance when accepted, shall operate as a con-
tract between said Railroad company and said City.
See. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official City paper.
