An ordinance creating and establishing a Benefit District and fix-
ing the boundaries thereof.
. WHEREAS, it is the intention and purpose to extend Front Street
in the City of Salina, from its present terminus, south to inter-
sect Mulberry Street in said City, and
WHEREAS, for the purpose of assessing against the property
especially benefited by such improvement a portion of the cost there-
of, Now, Therefore,
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby established and crea-
ted within the City'of Salina, a district to be known and designated
as.the "Benefit District" the boundaries of which shall be; On the
north, the south side of Walnut Street; on the West, the east side
of Second Street; on the South, by the north side of Mulberry
Street; on the east by the west side of the Smoky Hill River.
Sec. 2. 'This'ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official City paper.
Passed and approved, September 4th, 1917.
