ORDINANCE NO. 2081
(Published in the Salina Daily Union August .� 1917)
An ordinance levying special assessments against the property
herein described to pay the cost of constructing certain
sidewalks in the city of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby levied and assessed
against each of the lots and parts of lots hereinafter described
a special tax or assessment for the purpose of paying the cost of
constructing certain sidewalks abutting said property, by the City
of Salina, Kansas, between the 15th day of August, 1916, and the
15th day of August, 1917, in the various amounts set opposite the
following described lots and parts of lots, to -alit:

Sec. 2_. The City Clerk is hereby directed and authorized
to immediately certify the assessments made in Section One (1)
of this ordinance to the County clerk of Saline County, Kansas,
to be placed upon the tax roll for collection, subject to the same
penalties and collected in like manner as other taxes.
See. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be In full
force from and after its publication once in the official City
paper.
