An ordinance letting the contract for the plumbing and heating and
electric wiring and apparatus of the new fire station for
the city of Salina, Kansas. '
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:.
Section 1. That it is necesary and hereby found necessary
to install. and equip plumbing, heating and electric wiring and ap-
paratus in the new fire station building to be erected for the
City of Salina, Kansas.
Sec. 2. that the installation of the plumbing and heating ap-
paratus and equipment and of the electric wiring and fixtures there-
for shall be done in strict conformity to and compliance with the
original -plans and specifications including the amendments thereto
and revisions thereof adopted by the Mayor and Council as and for
the plans and specifications for such building upon the 20th day of
July, 1917; such plans and specifications having been prepared by
Charles W. Shaver,,. architect of Salina, Kansas, and are hereby re-
ferred to and made a part hereof and as fully and completely as
though written out at length herein.
gee. 3. That a contract be and is hereby let for all of such
work hereinbefore specified to The Salina Plumbing Company of Salina,
Kansas at and for the total contract price of Twenty -Four Hundred
Dollars, .($2400.00) which said sum is the price at which the said
'the Salina Plumbing Company have agreed to do such work and is here-
by found to be a fair and reasonable price and less than the esti-
mated costs thereof made by the City Engineer for the installation
and equipment thereof
See. 4. The City Attorney is hereby directed to prepare a
contract in writing between the City of Salina, Kansas and the said
The Salina Plumbing Company in accordance with the provisions of
this ordinance and the plans and specifications adopted for such
work and that said contract when prepared shall be executed for
and on behalf of the said City by the Mayor and Clerk thereof.
Sec. 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official City paper.
