2070 Fire Station Design Contract2bPGN 1 1 J 1 7 ORDINANCE N0. 2070 _ -- - -- - (published in the Salina Daily Union July C An ordinance letting a contract for the drawing of plans and speci- fications of the work on the new fire station to be erected on Fifth Street. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: 6ect ion 1. That a contract be and the same is hereby awarded to Charles W. Shaver for the preparation and furnishing of plans and specif icat ions for the new fire stat ion to be erected on Fifth Street in the city of Salina, Kansas, and for the supervision of such work from and after the time the contract is let for the con- struction of such building. Sec. 2. That the said Charles W. Shaver shall be paid for such services a sum equal to three and one-half (3-.4%) per cent of the cost of such building which amount is to be determined from the lowest actual bona fide bid submitted for such work. Provided, However, that the said Charles W. Shaver shall revise or redraw such plans and specifications in the event that such building cannot be built and completed within the appropriation made therefor. See, 3, The Mayor of the said City is hereby authorized to enter into a written contract with the said Charles W. Shaver in accordance with the terms and conditions of this ordinance, which said contract shall be approved as to its form by the City Attorney. Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication once in the official City paper. Passed and approved, July 16th, 1917.
