2060 Fourth Street Switch Track2bP(z11 1 1 1 F_ 341 ORD1N.I�IV CE N_0_. 2_060_ _ Publushed in the Salina Daily Union Jul 1917) An ordinance granting the right of way for a switch track to The Union Pacific Railroad Company along Fourth Street and across Elm Street. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Counilemn of the City of &alina= Section 1. That the right of way be and the same is hereby granted to The Union Pacific Railroad Company, to build, maintain and operate a switch track, and to run its trains, engines and cars thereon, along Fourth Street in said City from the present termin- us of its McPherson team track, north along said street to, and ..across Elm Street in said City and connecting with the present Lee Mercantile Switch Track. Sec. .20 Said switch to be built and constructed in accordance with' the plans and specifications of the City Engineer and the Street and Alley Committee of the city of Salina, Kansas, relating to railroad crossings on unpaved streets in said City. Sec. 3. This ordinance when .accepted shall operate as a contract between said railroad company and said City. Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and become and be in full force from and after its publication once in the official City paper. Passed and approved, July 2nd, 1917.
