2057 Appoint City Attorney2bP H 1 1 1 1 ORDINANCE NU. 2 057 . - - - (published in the_Sal ina -Daily- Un ion June 6 1917 ) An ordinance amending Section Five (5) of Ordinance No. 1859, entitled, "An ordinance providing for the appointment of a City Attorney, specifying his duties and fixing his compensation and repealing Ordinance No. 1758, passed and approved, May 18, 1914, and so much of Ordinance No. 1097 passed and approved September 16, 1901, as is in conflict therewith." Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That Section Five (5) of -Ordinance No. 1859 be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: "Sec. 5. That from and after June 15th, 1917, the salary of the City Attorney of the city of Salina, shall be Fifteen Hundred (1500.00) per annum, payable. monthly as other claims against the city are payable, which shall be in full compensation for his services as such. Provided, However, that for all busi- ness and cases outside of Saline County, Kansas, conducted by him, shall be allowed reasonable compensation, to be agreed upon by the Mayor and Council before such services are performed.« Sec. 2. That said Section Five (5) of said Ordinance No. 1859 be and the same is hereby repealed. Sec. 3.
