2053 Establish Street Grades2bPGII 1 1 1 2 ORDIWOCE N0. 2053._ _ _ ---- ----_- _- (Published in the Salina Dailv Union June V X9171 An ordinance establishing grades on certain streets in the city of Salina, Kansas. , Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That a grade be and is hereby established in Twelfth Street, commencing at the intersection of Ash Street and Twelfth Street, at an elevation of 101.80 feet, thence by a uni- form grade north to the alley to an elevation of 102.40 feet; thence by a uniform grade north to Park Street to an elevation of 101.90 feet; thence by. a uniform grade north 200 feet to an ele- vation of 102.20 feet; thence north by,a uniform grade to Elm Street to an elevation of -101.90 feet; thence from Elm Street to a point north of alley to an elevation of 100.30 feet; thence by a uniform grade north to Bishop Street to an elevation of 101.20 feet. See. 2. That a grade. be and is hereby established on Fifth Street, commencing at the intersection of Fifth Street and Pres - Cott Avenue to an elevation of 104.90 feet; thence by a uniform grade south 897 feet to an elevation of 106.10 feet; thence south to Crawford Street by a uniform grade to an elevation of 105.50 feet. Sec. 3. That a grade be and is hereby established on Col- lege Avenue, commencing at the intersection of College Avenue and Park Street, at an elevation of 97.80 feet; thence north by a uniform grade to Elm Street to an elevation of 96.80 feet; thence north by a uniform grade to Bishop Street to an elevation of 97.80 feet. Sec. 4. That a grade be and is hereby established on Bishop Street, commencing at the intersection of Bishop Street and Thir- teenth Street at an elevation of 99.10 feet; thence west by a uni- form grade to an elevation of 97,80 feet; thence west to Phillips or Fourteenth Street by a. uniform grade to an elevation of 97.60 feet; thence west by a uniform grade to alley to an elevation of 97.10,f eet ; thence west by a uniform grade to College Avenue to an elevation of 97.80 feet. See. 5. That a grade be and is hereby established on Bond Street, commencing at the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and Bond Street at an elevation of 107 feet; thence by a uniform grade to Highland Avenue to an elevation of 108 feet. Sec. 6. That a grade be and is hereby established on Prescott Avenue, commencing at the intersection of Prescott Aven- ue and Ninth Street, at an elevation of 106 feet; thence west eighty (80) feet by a uniform grade to an elevation of 106.20 feet; thence west by a uniform grade to Tenth Street to an ele- vation of 105.50 feet; thence west by a uniform grade to Elev- enth Street to an elevation of 106.20 feet. Sec. 7. That the grade lines hereby established shall'be for the center line and crown of the street and, for the tops of the curb. Sec. 8. All elevations mentioned in Sections One (1) to Six (6) inclusive, of this ordinance, are referred to the "City Bench Mark", as established by ordinance, and to the profiles on file in the City Engineer's office. Sec. 9. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its publication once in the Salina Daily Union. (SEAL) Attest: Passed and approved, June 18th, 1917, Chas.
