Daily Union June q 1917) d 7 An ord-inance amending Ordinance No. 1770 entitled`, "An ordinance fixing the salaries of the Marshal, Assistant Marshal and - the ' Pol icemen of the City of Salina, prescribing the hours of service and repealing Ordinances 1461 and 1670." Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That Section four (4) of Ordinance No. 1770, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: "Sec. 4. That from and after May 15th, 1917, each regular policeman of the City of Salina, shall receive for his services the sum of $70.00 per month payable monthly at the end of each month, which shall be in full compensation for his services; and each special policeman shall receive as pay for his services the sum of $2.00 per day in full compensation of his services." Sec . 2. That Section Four (4) of Ordinance No. 1770 be and the same is hereby repealed. Sec. 3.
