An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1719 entitled, "An ordin-
ance amending Section Three (3) of Ordinance No. 1480
passed and approved April 19, -1909, and amending Ordin-
ance No.:1538 passed and approved February.21, 1910 and
repealing said Section Three (3) 'of said Ordinance No.
1480 and said Ordinance No. 1538.'
Be : it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina;
Section 1. That Section Two (2) of said Ordinance No. 1719
be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"Sec. 2. That from and after May 15th, 1917,the Fire
Chief shall receive as full compensat ion, for all of his services
and duties as such, a salary of $1,080.00 per annum, and the
other members of said department shall be paid the following
salaries to -wit: Firemen of the first class each per annum
$780.00; firemen of the second class each per annum 660.00; all
to be paid monthly as other bills against the said Cityare pre-
sented and paid."
Sec. 2. That Section Two (2) of Ordinance No. 1719 be and
the same is hereby repealed.
Sec. 3 This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication once in the official city paper.
