An ordinance amending Section Two (2) of Ordinance No. 1860 enti-
tled, "An ordinance providing for the appointment of an
Assistant Fire Chief, fixing his duties and compensation
and -repealing so much of Ordinance No. 1480 as is in conflict
herewith.
Be it -ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That Section Two (2,) of Ordinance No. 1860 be
and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"Sec. 2. That from and after the 15th day of May 1917, the
Assistant Fire Chief shall receive as full compensation for all
his services the sum of $7.0.00 per month, payable monthly, the
same as other bills against the City are presented and paid.".
Sec. 2. That Section Two (2) of Ordinance No. 1860 be
and the same is hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after its publication once in the Salina
Daily Union.
