Sa 1 ina Dail Un ion May 1917 An ordinance providing for the condemnation and appropriation of certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina, hereinafter described for the purpose of opening, widen- ing and extending Elm Street and Eleventh Street in the said City. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That it is necessary and hereby ordered that the following described lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina be condemned and appropriated for the purpose of open- ing, widening and extending Elm Street and Eleventh Street in said City, from the northwest corner of Lot Thirty -Eight (38) Tenth Street, Bishop's Addition to the city of Salina, Kansas, thence south fifty (50) feett.o the southwest corner of said Lot Thirty-eight.. (38) ; thence east along the south line of said lot, one hundred twenty-five (125) feet; thence in a north - westerly direction one hundred thirty-four and "sixty-three hundredths (134.63) feet to the place of beginning, all in Bishop's Addition to the city of Salina, Kansas Sec. 2. The Mayor and Council shall appoint three disin- terested appraisers and householders who shall assess and appraise the above described property and all damage resulting from the appropriation of said property and shall make a due report to the Mayor and Council of their proceedings. Said assessments and appraisements to be made according to law. Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication once in The Salina Daily Union.
