2034 Grant Ninth Street Right-of-WayORDINANCE NO. (Published in the Sal ina - Da ilv--Un ion Mav An ordinance granting the right of way for a switch track to The Union. Pacific Railroad Company across Ninth Street. Be it ordinaed by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That the right of way be and the same is hereby granted to The Union Pacific Railroad Company to build, maintain and operate a switch track, and to ran its trains, engines and cars thereon, across Ninth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, at a point on a line extended west from the present switch track of the McPherson Branch of The Union Pacific Railroad Company. Sec. 2. Said switch track to be built and constructed in accordance with the plans snd specifications of the City Engineer and the Street. and Alley Co mmittee of the City of Salina, Kansas, relating to railroad crossings on paved streets in saidCity. Sec. 3. This ordinance when accepted shall operate as a contract between said railroad company and, said City. Sec. 4. This ordinance shall become and be in full force and effect from and after its publication once in the official City paper.. Passed and approved, May 7th, 1917. (SEAL) Attest: Chas . E.
