An ordinance accepting the report of the appraisers appointed for
the purpose of assessing and determining the damage sustained
by reason'of the opening, widening and extending of Riverside
Boulevard, as provided by Ordinance No. 1995, taking and
appropriating the property provided to be taken by said
Ordinance No. 1995,for the purpose therein stated, and
appropriating the sum of $1,390.00 in payment therefor.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of' the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the report of the appraisers, E. L. Wilder,
Wm. Hansen and J - Earl Wyatt, appointed for the purpose of assess-
ing and determining the damage sustained by property owners on ac-
count of the opening, widening and extending of Riverside Boulevard,
as provided by Ordinance;No. 1995, be and is hereby accepted and
approved.
Sec. 2. That the property described in said Ordinance No.
1995 for the purpose of opening, widening and extending Riverside
Boulevard in the city of Salina, Kansas, as in said Ordinance
provided, be and is hereby taken and appropriated by said City of
Salina) Kansas, for the purpose aforesaid.
Sec. 3. That the sum of Thirteen Hundred Ninety (1390.00)
Dollars, be and is hereby appropriated out of any fund in. the
hands of the -City Treasurer, liable for the payment thereof, as
payment -to 1. L. Gebhart for the lots and pieces of ground taken
for the opening, widening and extending of Riverside Boulevard,
as provided herein and in Ordinance No. 1995.
Sec. 4. Scrip for the amount named in Section Three .(3)
shall be issued to Y. L. Gebhart, payable January 1st, 1918, and
bearing no interest.
Sec. 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication once in The Salina Daily Union.
