OH�)INANCE.NO, 1996
An ordinance providing for the condemnation and appropriation of
certain real property hereinafter described, for the purpose
of establishing a polling place and for other public purpo-
ses for the Fifth Ward, in the city of Salina, Kansas, and
repealing Ordinance No. 1992, passed and approved October
2nd, 1916.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. It is necessary and hereby ordered that the west
sixty (60) feet of the east seventy-six (76) feet of the south
one-half of Lot 21 on Ninth Street, in Prescott's Addition to the
City of Salina, Kansas be condemned and appropriated for the
purpose of establishing thereon a polling place for the Fifth
Ward of the city of Salina, Kansas, and for other public purposes.
Sec. 2. That Ordinance No. 1992, passed and approved Octo-
ber 2nd, 1916, be and is hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. The Mayor and Council shall appoint five disinter-
ested householders and appraisers to appraise the property to be
so appropraited and the damage resulting therefrom.
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in froce
from and after its publication once in The Salina Daily Union.
