An ordinance providing for the condemnation and appropriation of cer-
tain real property hereinafter descrived for the purpose of estab-
lishing a polling place and for other public purposes, fir the
Fifth Ward in the City of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. It is necessary and hereby ordered that the wrist
ten (10) feet of the east twenty-six (26) feet of the South one-half
of Lot Twenty -One (21) on Ninth Street in Prescott's Addition to the
city of Sal ina, Kansas, . be condemned and appropriated for the purpose
of establishing thereon a pblling place for the Fifth Ward of the
City of Salina, and for other public purposes. -
Sec. 2. The Mayor and Council shall appoint five disinterested
householders and appraisers to appraise the property to be so appro-
priated and the damage resulting therefrom.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in froce from
and after its pubication once in The Salina Baily Union.
