1957 Establishing Grades on Bishop7 ORDINANCE NO. 1957. An ordinance establishing grades on Bishop Street from Ninth to Thirteenth Street; Tenth street, from Morrison Avenue to Prescott Avenue; Twelfth Street from Walnut Street to South Street; Walnut Street from College Avenue to Missouri Pacific Right-of-way; Tenth Street. from Lincoln Avenue to Grand Av- enue; and on Fifth Street from Crawford Street to Bond Street. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That a grade be and is hereby established on Bishop Street, commencing at the intersection of Sishop Street and Ninth Street, at an elevation of 99.2 feet, thence by a uniform grade to Tenth Street to an elevation 99.45 feet; thence by a uni- form grade to Eleventh Street to an elevation of 99.75 feet; thence by a uniform grade to Twelfth Street to an elevation of 99.25 feet; thence by a uniform grade to Thirteenth Street to an elevation of 99.15 feet. Sec. 2. That a grade be and is hereby established on Tenth Street, commencing at the intersection,of Tenth Street and Morris- on Avenue at an elevation of 105.20 feet; thence by a uniform grade to Washington Street to an elevation of 106.50 feet; ,thence by a uniform grade to Prescott Avenue to an elevation of 105.50 feet. Sec . '3 . That a grade be and is hereby established on Twelfth Street, commencing at the intersection of Twelfth Street and Walnut Street at an elevation of 104 feet, thence by a uniform grade 250 feet south of Walnut Street to an elevation of 105.20 feet; thence by a uniform grade south 525 feet to the north line of an'alley to an elevation of 102.60 feet; thence by a uniform grade to South Street to an elevation of 103.80 feet. Sec. 4. That a grade be and is hereby established on Walnut Street, commencing at the intersection of Walnut Street and College Avenue, at an elevation of 100 feet; thence by a uniform grade west 250 feet to an elevation of 99 feet; thence west by a uniform grade to the center of the right. -of -way of the Missouri Pacific Railway Company to an elevation of 101.30 feet. Sec. 5. That a grade be and is hereby established on Fifth Street, commencing at the intersection of Fifth Street and Crawford Street at an elevation of 105.50 feet; thence by a uniform grade to Bond Street to an elevation of 106.70 feet. 1 1 1 1 1 2bPGH 1 1 1 Sec. 6. That a grade be and the same is hereby established on Tenth Street, commencing at the intersection of Tenth Street and Lincoln Avenue Avenue at an elevation of 120 feet; thence by a uniform grade to Grand Avenue to an elevation of 98.30 feet. Sec. 7. That the grade lines as hereby established shall be for the center lines and crown of the street and for the top of the curb stones. Sec. 8. All elevations mentioned in Sections One to Six 'inclusive, of this ordinance are referred to the "City Bench Mark", as established by ordinance and to the profiles on file in the City Engineer's office. Sec. 9. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication once in The Salina Daily Union. Passed and approved.. June 5th, 1916. (SEAL) Attest: Chap.' B.
