ORDINANCE N U . 1953
An ordinance appropriat ing the sum of $610.00 out of the general
fund of the City for the purpose.of paying the damages
awarded the property owners awning property taken and condemned
for the opening, widening and extending of Delaware Avenue
from Iron Avenue to Johnstown Avenue.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. The sum of $610.00 is hereby appropriated out
of the general fund of the City for the purpose of paying to Henry
Stolper and B. U. Wilder jointly, as their interests appear, the
sum of $600.00 for all damages incurred by them by reason of the'
taking of property belonging to them, for the opening,, widening and
extending of Delaware Avenue from Iron Avenue to Johnstown Avenue,
under the provisions of Ordinance N o . , and for the further
purpose of paying to J. A. Onstott the sum of $10.00 for all damages
incurred by him by reason of the taking of property beloning to him
for the purpose aforesaid.
Sec. 2. An order is hereby drawn on the City Treasurer in the
sum of $610.00 for the payment of said above mentioned appropriation.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
