NO...1951 (Published in the Salina Baily Union, June 10, 1916) An ordinance defining certain misdemeanors and fixing . penalt ies for the commission thereof.. , Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Sect ion 1. It sh `. ,f 1 for any person, company or corporation tolr away any cigarettes or c igaratte papers in the M Salina, or to have any cigarettes or cigar- ette papersor about any store or other place within said City for free distribution or sale. Sec. 2. Bvery person, compan or corporation violating any of the provisions of Se fin !p��-61f this ordinance shall �om. be deemed guilty of, nom& e nd upon conviction thereof in the police court ity shall be fined in any sum not less than twenty-five ollars nor more than one hundred dollars. Sec. 3. Every minor who shall smoke or use cigarettes, tobacco or cigars in any form on any public road, street, alley park, or other lands used for public purposes within said City of Salina, or in any public place of business within said City, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof in the police court of said City shall be fined in any sum not more than ten dollars for each offense. Sec. 4. Every person who shall furnish cigarettes, cigars or tobacco in any form to any minor person, or who shall permit any minor person to frequent any premise owned, held or managed by him, for the purpose of indulging in the use of cigarettes, cigars or tobacco in any form, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than twenty-five nor more than one hundred dollars .
