An ordinance amending Section Four (4) of Ordinance No. 1313, -passed
and approved June 18th, 1906, and repealing such original sec-
tion.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That Sect ion, Four (4) of Ordinance No. 1313 be
amended to read as follows:
"Sec,. 4. The City Electrician shall issue all permits and
keep a record of the same, and make a thorough inspection of all
work that he is called upon to make, and shall be at all times
governed by the rules of The National Board of Fire UnderWPiters
and ordinances of the City of Salina,, that have been enacted or
may hereafter be enacted, and collect the following fees from the
person or company doing said wiring or alteration:
For from one (1) to eight (8) outlets for incandescent, Sev-
enty -Five cents (75�); for each additional outlet five cents (5¢);
and all over forty (40) outlets two cents (2¢) each.
From one (1) to four (4) outlets for arca Seventy -Five cents
(75¢) ; and for each additional outlet ten cents (100

For motors, each fifty cents (500
For installing switches in old work not exceeding five (5)
switches, Seventy -Five cents (75¢); and each additional switch_
five cents 00
For electric signs and small window lights, thirty (30)
lights 'or less, Seventy -Five Cents (75¢); and for each additional
light one cent (1¢)
All electric signs shall be erected under the supervision of
the City Electrician. All fees collected under this ordinance shall
be paid into the general fund of the City .by the City Electrician
who shall the receipt of the treasurer therefor."
Sec. 2. That Section Four (4) of Ordinance No. 1313, passed
and approved June 18th, 1906, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication once in The Salina Evening Journal.
