An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain
claims.
,Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the sum of Three Thousand Seven Hundred
,Eighty -Six and 86/100 Dollars, ($3,786.86),
be and the same is
,hereby appropriated out of the General Fund
in the hands of the

Sec. 2. That orders be drawn on-theCity Treasurer for
the payment of the claims mentioned in Section One (1) hereof.
Sec. 3. That the sum of One Hundred Eighty -Seven and
50100 Dollars, ($187.50.) be and the same - is hereby appropriated
out of the Park and Parking Fund` in the hands of the City Treas-
urer for the payment of the following claim:
To Chas. E. Banker, per J. A. Rumrill, For planting trees in
the City Park, between Second and Third
Streets, north of Elm Street. $187.50
Sec. 4. That scrip for the amount specified in Section
Three (3) of this ordinance be drawn on the City Treasurer for the
payment of such claim. Said scrip to be made payable on demand
and bearing no interest.

Sec. 5. That the sum of Three Hundred Thirty Two and 95100
Dollars, ($332.95) be and the same is hereby appropriated out of
the Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer for the pay--
ment of the following claims:
To Watts & Amerman, For relaying paving at the inter=
section of Ninth and Park --------- $328.45,
To J. E. `tucker, Paving Inspector ------------------ 4.50-
Total---------------- $332.95
Sec. 6. That scrip for the amounts specified in Section Five
(5) of this ordinance be drawn on . the City Treasurer for the pay-
ment of such claims. Said scrip to be made payable on demand and
bearing no interest.
Sec. 7. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its adoption.
