1003 Issue Temporary NotesWHEREAS, by Ordinance Number A-391 there has been appropriated from and transferred by the Waterworks Department Fund to the City of Salina Construction Fund (Sanitary Sewer Project) the sum of $5,311.50; and to the Construction Fund (Curb, Gutter and/or Paving Project) the sum of $28,222.89, which sum is to be returned from Construction Fund to Waterworks Fund, as soon as the Construction of said sewer, curbing, ,uttering and paving improvements is com- pleted, and the cost thereof is ascertained and bonds are issued in an amount necessary to take care of the balance of such costs, and Vf'JM4REAS$ it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the advancing of said sum of $5,311.50 and $28,222.89 from the Watenniorks Department Fund to the City of Salina Construction Fund above mentioned, and the debt thereby created, by issuing temporary notes to be held by said Waterworks Fund (Investment Account), and payable out of said City of Salina Construction Fund. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Temporary Notes to be signed by the Mayor and City Clerk, in the sum of $5,311.50 and $28,222.89$ dated August 19, 1947, payable to the order of the Waterworks Fund of the City of Salina, Kansas, and payable out of the City of Salina Construction Fund, is hereby authorized, such notes to be payable out of such fund after there has been received and paid into such fund the proceeds from the sale of bonds to be authorized in payment of the cost of curbing, guttering, paving and sewer improvements in the City of Salina, Kansas* Section 2. That Temporary Notes shall be issued bearing interest at the rate of one per cent (1%) per annum, from the date thereof until paid.
