RESOLUTION NUMBER 985
A RESOLUTION relating to the issuance of Temporary Notes 1n the amount of
$1,411.80, $30,238.96 and $11,594.85.
WHERE AS, by Ordinance Number A-378 there has been appropriated from and
transferred by the Waterworks Department Fund to the City of Salina Con-
strution Fund (Lateral Sewer Project) the sum of $1,411.80; Construction
Fund (Storm. Sewer Project) the sum of $30,238.96 and Construction Fund
(Curb, Gutter and/or Paving Project) the sum of $11,594.85, which sum is
to be returned from the (3onstruction Fund to Waterworks Fund as soon as
the construction of said curbing and gutteringandsewer work is completed,
and the cost thereof is ascertained and bonds are issued in an amount
necessary to take care of the balance of such costs, and
Wffl]REAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the advancing of
said sum of $1,4110.80, $30,238.96 and $11,594.85, from the VJaterworks
Department Fund to the City of Salina Construction Fund above mentioned,
and the debt thereby created, by issuing temporary notes to be held by
said'Waterv,rorks Fund (Investment Account), and payable out of said Ci I ty
of Salina Construction Fund. NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Cormaissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That Temporary rotes to be signed by the Mayor and City
Clerk, in the sum of $1,411.80, $30,258.96 and $11,594.85, dated May 20,
1947, payable to the order of the Waterworks Fund of the City of Salina
and payable out of the City of Salina Construction Fund is hereby author-
ized, such notes to be payable out of such fund after there has been
received and paid into such fund the proceeds from the sale of bonds to
be authorized in payment of the cost of curbing, guttering and sewer
improvements, :gin. the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That Temporary Notes shall be issued bear --,ng interest at
the rate of one per cent (1%) per annum from the date thereof until paid.
