A RESOLUTION relating to the issuance of Temporary Note in the amount of
$6,798.11
W[MMS, by Ordinance Number A-338 there has been appropriated
from and transferred by the Waterworks Department Fund to the City of
Salina Construction Fund (Curb, Gutter, Paving Account's ,in the City
Trea,sury of Salina, Kansas, the some of $6,798.11, which sum is to be
returned.from said City of Salina Construction Fund (Curb, Gutter, Paving
Account) to Waterworks Department Fund as soon as the construction of
said curbing and guttering as provided for in Ordinance Number 5144 1#
completed and the cost thereof is ascertained and bonds are issued and
sold in the amount necessary to take care of the balance of such cost,
and
YffMFAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the ad-
vancing of said sum of $6,798.11, from the Waterworks Department Fund
to the City of Salina Construction Fund (Curb, Gutter, Paving Account)
above mentioned and the debt thereby created by issuing a Temporary Note
to be held by the Waterworks Department Fund, payable out of said City
Of Salina Construction Fund (Curb, Gfittor; Paving Account), NOGG
THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Temporary Note in the amount of $6,7981.11, dated
July 16, 1946, payable to the order of the Waterworks Department Fund of
The City of Salina and payable out of the City of Salina Construction
Fund (Curb, Gutter, paving account) is hereby aathorized, such note to
be payable out of such fund after there has been received and paid in-
to such fund the proceeds from the sale of bonds to be authorized in
payment of the cost of Curbing and Guttering Improvements provided for
in Ordinance Number 5144 of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That Temporary Note shall be issued bearing interest
at the rate of one per cent (1%) per annum, from the date thereof until
paid.
