RESOLUTION NUMBER 860
A RESOLUTION relating to issuance of Temporary Notesin the amount of
17941.80 (Curb and Gutter Job No, 203.)
WHEMS, by Ordinance No. A-255 there has been appropriated from,
and transferred by the Waterworks Department Fund to the City of Salina
Construction Fund (Curb and Gutter Job) in the City Treasury of Salina,
Kansas, the sum of $7941.80, which spun is to be returned Proms aid City of
Salina Construction Fund (Curb and Gutter Job) to said Waterworlm Department
Fund as soon as the construction of said curbnng and guttering improvements
as provided for in Ordinance Number 5051 is completed and the cost thereof
is ascertained and bonds are issued and sold in an amount necessary to take
care of the balance of such costs, and
'WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the advancing
of said sum of $7941,80 from the Waterworks Department Fund to the said
City of Salina Construction Fund (Curb and Gutter Account) above mentioned,
and the debt thereby created by issuing a Temporary Note to be held by said
Waterworks Department. Fund payable out of said City of Salina Construction
Fund (Curb and Gutter Account), NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas%
Section 1. That a Temporary Note to be signed by the Mayor and City
Clerk, in the sum of $7941.80, dated October 17, 1944, payable to the order
of the Waterworks Department Fund of the City of Salina and payable out of the
City of Salina Construction Fund (Curb and Gutter Account), is hereby
authorized, such note to be payable out of such fund &fter there has been re-
ceived and paid into such fund the proceeds of the sale of bonds to be
authorized in payment of the cost of curbing and guttering improvements as
provided for in Ordinance Number 5051 of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Seetion 2. That a Temporary Note shall be issued bearing interest
at the rate of one per cent per annum, from the date thereof until paid.
