A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO STREET
SUPERVISOR GARY D. ELSEY FOR HIS EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY OF SALINA
FROM JUNE 24,1974 TO MARCH 8, 2010.
WHEREAS, during the period from June 24, 1974 to March 8, 2010 GARY D. ELSEY served
as Maintenance Worker, Equipment Operator, Senior Maintenance Worker, Concrete Finisher, Lead
Maintenance Worker, Street Maintenance Foreman, and Street Supervisor for the General Services
Street Division of the Public Works Department of the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, GARY D. ELSEY has demonstrated invaluable and dedicated service to the City
of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of the City of Salina are
worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation to GARY D. ELSEY, for his
dedicated and faithful service as Maintenance Worker, Equipment Operator, Senior Maintenance
Worker, Concrete Finisher, Lead Maintenance Worker, Street Maintenance Foreman, and Street
Supervisor for the General Services Street Division of the Public Works Department of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this resolution delivered to GARY D. ELSEY.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 1St day of March, 2010.
