ORDINANCE NUMBER 09-10530
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF A CERTAIN TRACT OF
LAND LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EAST NORTH STREET, EAST OF
LAKEWOOD PARK IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 14 South, Range 2 West
of the 6th Principal Meridian, being a portion of Tract 2, Thomas White Farms Subdivision,
Saline County, Kansas, being described as follows:
— Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Southeast Quarter
— thence on an assumed bearing of N 90°00'00"E along the North line of said Southeast
Quarter, a distance 2.72 feet;
— thence S 00°00'00"W a distance of 303.15 feet to the point of beginning of the tract being
described;
— thence S 87°31'42" E a distance of 187.62 feet;
— thence N 85°29'58" E a distance of 114.31 feet;
— thence S 04°30'02" E a distance of 5.00 feet;
— thence N 85'29'58" E a distance of 370.13 feet, more or less, to a point on the centerline of
the Smoky Hill River Channel;
— thence S 42'l 3' 11" W along said centerline, a distance of 131.82 feet;
— thence S 57°03'37" W continuing along said centerline, a distance of 139.66 feet;
— thence S 87°18'49" W continuing along said centerline, a distance of 137.33 feet;
— thence N 87053'09" W continuing along said centerline, a distance of 328.05 feet;
— thence N 00°00'00" E a distance of 142.96 feet more or less, to the point of beginning.
Said tract contains 87,437 SF, 2.01 acres, more or less.
meeting` one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That Annexation Ordinance Number 09-10516 approved on September 21, 2009 is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and
publication once in the official city newspaper.
