802 Issue Temporary NotesWHERFAS, by Ordinance Number .11-106 there has been appropriated and
transferred by the Waterworks Department Fund to the City of Salina Con-
struction Fund (W.P.A. Project Number 8010-3S Accuont) in the City Treasury
of Salina, Kansas, the sum of $1000.00 which sum is to be returned from
said City of Salina Construction Fund (W.P.A. Project Number 8010-3S
Account) to said Waterworks Department Fund as soon as the construction
of Lateral Sanitary Sewers numbered 187A and 189, as provided for in
Ordinance numbered 4988 is completed and the cost thereof is ascertained
and bonds are issued and sold in an amount necessary to take care of the
balance of such costs,- and
WM-7,AS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the advancing
of said sum of $1000.00 from the Waterworks Department Fund to the said
City of Salina Construction Fund (11T.P.A. Project Number 8010-38 Account)
above.mentioned, and the debt thereby created by issuing a Tempprary Note
to be held by said Waterworks Department Fund payable out of said City of
Salina Construction Fund (W.P.A, Project No. 8010-3S Account). NOW

B'E IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas
Section 1. That a Temporary Note to be signed by the Mayor and
City Clerk for the sum of $1000.00 dated March 18, 1941, payable to the
order of the Waterworks Department Fund of the City of Salina, and payable
out of the City of Salina Construction Fund, (W.P.A. Project Number
8010-3S Account) is hereby authorized, such note to be payable out of such
fund after there has been received and paid into such fund the proceeds
of the sale of bonds to be authorized in payment of the cost of the con-
struetion of Lateral Sanitary Sewers numbered 187A and 189.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note shall be issued bearing interest
at the rate of two per cent (21/1'a') per annum, from the date thereof until
paid.
