776 Improve Salina Truck Bypassx'42
RESOLUTION NUMBER 776
VrHEREAS, the State Highway Commission will obtain the ap-
proval of the Administrator of the Public Roads Administration
of the Federal Works Agency of a project for the roadside im-
provement of 1,429 miles of the public street in the City of
Salina, known as Salina Truck By Pass and designated.. as Federal
Aid Project No. 81-85 FA 553 A (5) Pt. II, said roadside im-
provement to be paid for with funds obtained under The Federal
:highway Act.
NOW THEREFORE, it is resolved by the Governing Body that
in the event the above named project is approved by the Admin-
istrator of the Public Roads Administration of the Federal
Works Agency and constructed by the State Highway Commission as
called for in the plans and specifications, that the "City will
each year, at its own cost and expense, maintain the project
in a manner satisfactory to the said Administrator of the
Public Roads Administration and the State Highway Commission,
or their authorized representatives, and will make ample pro-
vision each year for such maintenance.
