RESOLUTION NO, 730
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO AN APPLICATION FOR A GRANT FROM
THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO STORY AND BASEMENT ADDITION TO
THE CITY HALL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SUCH PURPOSE,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FURNISH INFORMATION
RELATIVE TO SUCH APPLICATION,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
That there be appropriated from the Waterworks Depart-
ment of the City of Salinas out of the funds of said depart-
ment now on hand, the sum of $26,400.00, or so much thereof
as may be required, for the purpose of constructing a two
story addition to the present City Hall Buildings with base-
ment, to be used as an office and service building for the
Waterworks Department of said City, and that the City Manager.,
H. L. Browns be and he is hereby authorized to make applica-
tion to the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works
for a grant of money to aid in the construction of such build-
ing, and to sign such p -specs and furnish such information re-
lative to such project as may be required by said Administra-
tion.
