724 Issue Temporary NotesWHEREAS, by Ordinance Number 4865 there has been appropriated from and transferred by the Waterworks Department Fund to the City of Salina W. P. A. Project Number 6595 Account in the City Treasury of Salina, Kansas, the sum of $2,500.00, which sum is to be returned from said City of Salina W. P. A. Project Number 6595 Account to said Waterworks Department Account, as soon as the construction of Storm Sewers numbered 10-B and 10-C as pro- vided for in Ordinance Number 4849, is completed and the cost thereof is ascertained and bonds are issued and sold in an amount necessary to take care of the balance of such costs; and WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the ad- vancing of said sum of $2,500,00 from the Waterworks Department Account to the said City of Salina W. P. A. Project Number 6595 Account above mentioned, and the debt thereby created by issuing a Temporary Note to be held by said Waterworkd Department Fund payableout of said City of Salina W. P. A Project Number 6595 Account, NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That a temporary Note to be signed by the Mayor and City Clerk of the sum of 2,500.00, dated May 17, 1938, payable to the order of the Waterworks Depaf;tment Fund of the City of Salina and payalbe out of the City of Salina W. P. A. Project No. 6595 Account is hereby authorized, such note to be payable out of such fund after there has been received and paid unto such fund the proceeds of the sale of bonds to be authorized in payment of the cost of the construction of Storm Sewers Numbered 10-B and 10-C as above mentioned. Section 2. That a Temporary Note shall be issued bearing interest at the rate of two per cent (2%) per annum from the date thereof until paid.
