A RESOLUTION relating to W. P. A. Project No. 5172 Account
WHEREAS by Ordinance Number 4738 there has been appropriated
from and transferred by the Waterworks Department Fund to the
Cit of Salina Mt. P. A. Project �yuber 5172 Account in the City
Treasury of Salina, Kansas, the sum of 01000.00 which sum is to
be returned from said City of Salina W. P. A. Project Number 5172
Account to said Waterworks Department Fund as soon as the curbing,'

is complete and the cost thereof is ascertained and bonds are

of such costs; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the advanc-
ing of said sutra of $1000.00 from the ffaterworks Department Fund
to the said City of Salina W. P. A. Project Number 5172 Account
above mentioned and the debt thereby created by issuing a temporary
note to be held by said Waterworks e artaent Fund payable out of
said City of Salina 111. P. A. Project urnber 5172 Account, NOVI
THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLD by the Board of Cor. issioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a Temporary Note to be signed by the Mayor
and City Clerk for the sum of $1000.00 dated April 200 1937,
payable to the order of the Waterworks Department Fund of the
City of Salina and payable out of the City of Salina W. P. A.
Project Number 5172 Account is hereby authorized, such note to
be payable out of such fund after there has been received and
paid into such fund the proceeds of the sale of bonds to be
authorized inpayment of the cost of the curbing, guttering
and paving improvements referred to in Ordinance Number 4716 of
the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note shall be issued bearing
interest at the rate of two per cent per annum from the date
thereof until paid.
