RESOLUTION NO. 672
A RESOLUTION relating to the construction of curbing and
guttdring on Sheridan Street and on Kansas Avenue.
by ordinance No, 4680 there has been appropriated
from and transferred by the Waterworks Department Fund to the
Sheridan Street and Kansas Avenue Curb and Gutter Account In
the City Treasury of Salina, Kansas, the sum of $1990.00.,
which sum is to be returned from said Sheridan S reet and Kansas
Avenue Curb and Gutter Account to said Waterworls Department
Fund as soon as the curb and gutter improvements referred to
-in Ordinance No, 4680 are complete and the cost thereof in aseer-'
tained and bonds are issued and sold in an amount necessary to
take care of the balance of such costs; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the
advancing of said sum of $1j990#00 from the Waterworks Depart,*
gent Fund to the said Sheridan Street and Kansas Avenue Curb
and Gutter Account above mentioned and the debt thereby
created by issuing a temporary note to be held by said Water-
works Department Fund payable out of said Sheridan Street and
Kansas Avenue Curb and Gutter Account; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board Of Comissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1, That a Temporary Note to be signed by the
Mayor and City Clerk for the sum of $1,990.0o dated Septem-
ber 21, 1936, payable to the order of the Waterworks Depart-
ment Fund of the City of Salina and payable out of the
Sheridan 3 reet and Kansas Avenue Curb and Gutter Account of
the City of Salina is hereby authorized, such note to be
payable out of such fund after there has been received and
paid into such fund the proceeds of the sale of bonds to
be authorized in payment of the cost of the construction of
curb and gutter improvements referred to in said Ordinance
No. 4680 of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2p , That a Temporary Note above referred to
shall bear Interest at the rate of 2 per cent per annum from
the date thereof until paid.
