RESOLUTION NUMBER 1602
WHEREAS,' The City of, Salina, Kansas$ a municipal corporation, has
heretofore granted The Kansas Power and Light Company, a Kansas Corpo-
ration, a franchise to use the pub3lo streets, alleys and thorofares in
the said City for the purpose of supplti.ng electricity to the City of
Salina, Kansas, and the inhabitants thereof, being Ordinance No. 5364 ,
and
' WHEREAS;, the said Company is furnishing street lighting service
in the City of Salina, Kansas, and it is the desire of the said City
that certain changes and/or extensions be made in the existing street
lighting system:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY
OF SALINA, KANSAS:
Section 1. ' That the City of Salina, Kansas, request and authorize
The Kansas Power and Light Company to make the following changes and/or
additions tothe existing street lighting system in the said City:
1. The installation of fifty 10,000 lumen lamps steel poles
overhead conductor to be installed on Seventh Street from
the south side of Walnut Street to the north side of Elm
Street.
2. The removal of thirty-four 150 Pratt lamps, eighteen 2500
lumen lamps, four 500 Watt lamps and one 300 Watt lamp.
This is a total of fifty-seven white way lights.
Section 2. That the City of Salina, Kansas, pay The Kansas
Power and Light Company for the street lighting service resulting from
the changes described above at the said Company's price schedule SL -1
now on file with the State Corporation Commission of Kansas, or as modi-
fied by authority of said Commission or other regulatory body having
jurisdiction over the xst4s charged by Ebmpany. The prices applicable
to the service covered by this resolution and named in said schedule
area s follows:

overhead conductor $42.00 per year.
