RESOLUTION NUMBER 1330
A RESOLUTION finding that it is necessary to widen Roach Street
from its intersection with the south line of McAdams Road south to
its intersection with the north line of Martin Atenue and to appro-
priate private property therefor, and directing the City Engineer
to file a survey and description of the land so required.
''WHEREAS, Roach Street in the City of Salina, Kansas is not of uniform
width.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas,
deem it necessary to widen Roach Street from its intersection.of Roach
Street with the south line of McAdams Street, gouth to the intersection
of Roach S rest with the north kine of Martin A lanue, so that Roach
"Street will be uniform in width.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners.deem it necessary to appropriate
priv,te property for the widening of Roach Street as aforesaid, SO
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE'CITY OF SALIN4 KANSAS:
That it is necessary for the gity of Salinaf Kansas to appropriate
private property for the widening of Roach Street in, the City of Salina..
Kansas, from the Intersection of Roach Street with the south line of
McAdams Road, south to the intersection of Roach Street with the north
line of McXtin Avenue and #he Cfcth Engineer is hereby directed to file
with the Citli Clerk on or, before the lot day of August`, 1952, a survey
and description of the land so required.
That this'resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its a4pption.'
