RESOLUTION NUMBER 1626
(First published in the Salina Journal November 1955)
A RESOLUTION relating to the paving and grading of Lewis -Avenue twenty-
eight (28) feet wide toe of gutter to toe of gutter, with two (2)
inch hot asphalt mix over a six (6) inch crushed rock base, from
the north line of Republic Avenue to the south line of Martin Avenue.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
That Lewis Avenue, a street in the City of Salina, Kansas, from the
north line of Republic Avenue tothe south line of Martin Avenue, be paved
and graded twenty-eight (28) feet wide toe of gutter to toe of gutter,
with two (2) inch hot asphalt mix over a six (6) inch crushed rock base,
along with such grading and excavation::;as may be necessary, and the same
are hereby determined to be necessary improvements.
