2132 Wilson Reservoir Water StorageA RESOLUTION requesting w ater storage in Wilson Reservoir.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina, K ansae , has heretofore by resolution -
the
duly passed, declared that it is necessary and for the public good that
the City of Salina, Kansas ., be protected from the over flow of the Saline
River.
WHEREAS;, the Board of Commissioners of -the City of Salino,Kansas, deem
it necessary andfor the Public good that the City of Salina,Kansas, have
adequate water; -storage and reserves.
BE. IT THEREFORE RESOD.by the Board -of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, ansas, that the City request the U. S. Corps of Engineers to reserve
storage and impounding area of Fifty Thousand (50,000) acre feet of water
in the Wilson Reservoir for the use of the City of Salina, Kansas.
