RESOLUTION NUMBER 2803.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF FIRST AMMENDMENT TO GRANT AGREEMENT,
CMTRACT NO, FA -CE -2060, RELATING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SALINA MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT, SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the City of Salina, Kansas, shall 'enter into an agreement
entitled First Amendment to Grant Agreement with the United States fov'_the purpose
of amending the Grant Agreement between the Federal Aviation Agency, acting for
and on behalf of the United States, and the City of Salina, Kansas, accepted by
said City of Salina on December 11, 1962.
Section 2. That the purpose of said First Amendment to Grant Agreement is
to increase the maximum obligation of the;United States from $10,000.00 to
$10,942,29;
Section 3: That the City Manager is hereby authorixed and directed to execute
said First Amendment tb Grant Agreement on behalf of theCity of Salina, Kansas,
and that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to impress the official
seal df.said City of Salina, Kansas, and to attest to said execution;
Section 4. That the First Amendment to Grant Agreement referred to herein
above shall be as follows:

WHEREAS, the amount of final eligible and allowable and allowed project
Icostsdrelating to the above -identified project has been determined to be $21,884.5 ,
the Federal share of khich is $10,942,29, and said Federal share exceeds the amoun
Inf t-hecamount of the maximum obligation of the United States under the project
Grant Agreement by the amount of $942.29; and
WHEREAS, it is determined to be int: the interest of the United States that
the said Grant Agreement be amended, as authorixed by Public Law 183, 81st
Congress, in the manner and particulars hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
For and in consideration of the benefits which will respectively accrue to
the parites hereto, it is hereby mutually agreed by and between the Federal
Aviation Agency, for and on behalf of the United States, as Party of the First
Part, and the City of Salina, Kansas, as Party of the Second Part, that the
Grant Agreement on Project No. 9-14-032307 be and the same is hereby amended
by deletion of the monetary amount of 11$10,000.00" appearing in numbered Paragraph
1 on Page 2 of Part 1 --Offer, and by substitution therefor of the 'monetary
amount of "$10,942.29".
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have caused this First Amendment to be
