2765 Motor Fuel TaxU D 1 19 RESOL•UMON NUI0BER- 2765 A RESOLUTION recommending the adoption of the proposed one and one-half (1) motor fuel tax increase by the 1964 session of the Kansas legislature. WHEREAS, the 1964 Budget Session of the Kansas Legislature will be faced with the problem of securing additional revenues; and, WHEREAS, the Kansw Officials Joint Committee on Highways, Roads and Streets has recommended the adoption of a 1gi� motor fuel tax increase; and, WHEREAS, the adoption of the proposed motor fuel tax increase would be beneficial to the City of Salina; NOW THEREFORE BE -IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY -OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS: Section 1. That it approved the proposed motor fuel tax increase and. easnestly solicits the 1964 Budget session of the -Kansas legislature to adopt the proposed one and one-half (11g�) motor fuel tax increase. Section 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Salina, Kansas be and he is hereby directed, to forward a copy of this resolution to the Honorable Ernest Strahan, Honorable Bruce Johnson and the Honorable Charles F.
