A resolution finding that it is advisable and necessary to open, widen,
extend, and improve Ohio Street south from the center line of Pacific Avenue
approximately 3500 feet to a point where said Ohio Street intersects the
channel of the Smoky Hill River, and finding that it is Necessaryto
appropriate private property therefore,'and directing the City Engineer to
file a survey and description of the land so required.
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Salina, Kansas, deems it
advisable and necessary to open, widen, extend, and improve Ohio Street'
south from the center line of Pacific Avenue approximately 3500 feet to a
point where said Ohio Streetintersects, the channel of Smoky Hill River; and
WHEREAS, the said governing body of the City"of Salina, Kansas, deems
it advisable and necessary to appropriate private property for the opening,
widening, extending and improving of said Ohio Street. .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
SALINA, KANSAS:
Section 1. That it is hereby deemed and declared advisable and necessary
for the City of Salina, Kansas, to appropriate private property for the
opening, widening, extending and improving of Ohio Street in the City of
Salina, Kansas, south from the center line of Pacific Avenue approximately
3500 feet to a point where said Ohio Street intersects the channel of the
Smoky Hill River.
Section 2. That the City Engineer is hereby directed to file with the
City Clerk on or before the 20th day of May, 1963, a survey and
description of the land so required.
This resolution shall be in force and effect from and after its
publication in the official city newspaper.
