Resolution authorizing filing of application with the Public Health Service,
United States of America, for a Grant under -the Water Pollution Control Act
(33 U.S.C. 466 et sea.)
WHEREAS, under ,the terms of the -Water Pollution Control Act, (33 U.S.C. 466 et
see.), the United States of America has authorized the making of grants to
authorized applicants. to aid in.,the,,construct;ion of specific .public_ project:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City of Salina, Kansas:
1. That G. E. Spangler be and he is hereby authorized to execute and file
an application on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas with the Public Health
Service, United_States Government, for a grant to aid in the construction of
Sewage Disposal Plant (Already granted changing of name from R. F. Exline, former
Mayor.
2. That G. E. Spangler, Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed
to furnish such information as the United States Public Health Service may
reasonably request in connection with the application which is herein authorized
to be filed, and sign all necessary documents.
CERTIFICATE OF -RECORDING OFFICER
The undersigned duly qualified -.and acting City Clerk of the City of'Salina,
Kansas does hereby certify:
That the attached resolution is a true and correct copy of the resolution
authorizing the filing of application with the United States Public Health
Service, as regularly adopted at a legally convened meeting of the City
Commissioners, City of Salina, Kansas duly held on the 13th day of May, 1963;
and further that such resolution has been fully recorded in the journal of
proceedings and records in my office.
