RESOLUTION NUMBER 2999_
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING IT NECESSARY TO ALTER, REPAIR AND RECONSTRUCT
THE ASH STREET SEWER FROM EIGHTH STREET TO THE SMOKY HILL RIVER.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That it is hereby found and determined that khe Ash Street
Sewer from Eighth Street to the Smoky Hill River, which has been constructed
for a period of more than twenty years is inadequate.
Section 2. That it is hereby determined that the inadequacy of the.
Ash Street Sewer can be corrected at a -lesser cost by the construction of
a supplemental sewer in the same watershed.
Section 3.. That the City Engineer or his designee be instructed to
prepare the necessary plans and specifications required for the construction
of the supplemental Ash Street Sewer.
Adopted by -the Board of Commissionersand approved by the Mayor, this
15th day of July, 1968.
