A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SALINE COUNTY,
KANSAS, TO HOLD ANNUAL TAX FORECLOSURE SALE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Salina, Kansas, request that the Board of
County Commissioners of Saline County, Kansas, institute an action in accordance
with K.S.A. 79-2801 to -enforce the tax lien on all real estate which has been bid
in by the county at any delinquent tax sale and which remains unredeemed on the
1st day.of September, 1966.
Section 2. That the City of Salina, Kansas, request the Board of County
Commissioners of Saline County, Kansas, to provide for an annual tax foreclosure
sale to enforce the tax liens as provided for in K.S.A. 79-2801.
Section 3. That the City Clerk be instructed to send a certified copy of
this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Saline County, Kansas.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in force and effect from and
after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, and
signed by the Mayor the 15th day of August; 1966.
