A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, EDUCATION
AND WELFARE, FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ADMINISTRATION, THE UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA,OF A GRANT UNDER THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT. (33 U.S.C.
446 et seq.).
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Water Pollution Control Act (33'U.S.C.
446 et seq.) the United States of.America has authorized the making of grants
to authorized applicants to aid in the construction of specific public project:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS'W
(1). That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to accept a
grant on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas, from the Federal Water
Pollution Control Administration, United States Government, to aid in the con-
struction of the East Ash Street Sewer separation project.
(2). That N. D. Olson, City Manager, be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to furnish such information as the United States Public Health Service
may reasonably request in connection with the grant which is herein authorized
and accepted and sign all necessary documents.
Adopted by the Governing Body and approved by the Mayor this 18th day of
April, 1966.

Kansas, hereby certify:

authorizing the filing of the acceptance of a grant from the Federal Water and
Pollution Control Administration of the United States Government, as regularly
adopted at a legally convened meeting of the Board of Commissioners duly held

fully recorded in the journal of proceedings of.records in my office.
