RESOLUTION NUMBER 3108
A RESOLUTION designating the official depositories for all moneys
of the City of Salina, Kansas, and directing the City Treasurer to deposit
all moneys received by him therein.
WHEREAS; M. E. Abbott is the dul'y`-) appointed, qualified and acting
Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas, and as such is authorized to
receive public moneys; and
WHEREAS, the said M. E. Abbott, as Treasurer, does collect public
moneys and it is necessary that the Governing Body designate the official
depository for such moneys; and
- WHEREAS, the Planters State Bank, First National Bank and Trust
Company, The National Bank of America and the First State Bank and Trust
Company, are State and National banks located within the City of Salina,
.Saline County, Kansas, and are suitable places in which to deposit the moneys
received by the said M. E. Abbott, SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Sectiod,l-.That all public moneys received by M. E. Abbott as
Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas, be deposited in the Planters State
Bank, First National Bank and Trust Co., The National Bank of America or
the First State Bank and Trust Company, all banking corporations located in
the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, and that the said moneys be
deposited therein in the.name of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the securities shown on the attached exhibit be
and the same are hereby approved as security_for said deposits.
Section 3. That the designated peak deposit period be sixty
days following January 1st and sixty days following July-lst.
Adopted by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas, and
approved by the Mayor this ..4th day of October, 1971
