3064 Improvements For Undeveloped Property1 1 (Published in The Salina Journal 1970) RESOLUTION NUMBER 3064 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE POLICY OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, IN REGARDS TO THE INSTALLATION OF GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR UNDEVELOPED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY. BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the.City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That it is hereby determined to be the policy of the the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: (a). That the petitioner or petitioners requesting any general improvements which confer a specific benefit upon unimproved or undeveloped property located within a specified area within the City shall be required to pay a minimum of F,iTty percent (50%). of the cost of the project, in cash, to the City Clerk, prior to the awarding of any contract for such improvements. Cb). That the remaining cost of the improvements to be paid by special assessments upon the property benefited and that. portion payable by the City -at -large may be financed by general obligation bonds of the City which may be payable in no more than ten (10) annual installments. Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
